Consumer Behavior & Tourism Analytics:
Designing Experiences, Measuring Emotions and Creating Memories
TOMTE, the Competence Centre in Tourism Management and Tourism Economics of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, proudly announces the first edition of the CBTS Winter School and Summit.
The Winter School aims at providing an opportunity for PhD and Master Students to engage in the field of consumer behavior and tourism analytics and acquire knowledge and expertise in the area of designing experiences, measuring emotions and creating memories.
The Summit aims at exchanging scientific ideas and results and discussing new and emerging directions in research and practice in the field of tourism behavior and analytics. Speakers at the Summit are selected by the scientific committee on the basis of their scientific interests and outputs.
The event is organized throughout a week and includes participation to the following sessions:
CBTS WINTER SCHOOL 10th– 12th DECEMBER 2018
Three days of lectures, presentations, breakout session and research seminars on the following topics: The nature of tourism experience – Measurements of tourism experiences – Designing tourism experiences – Emotions in Tourism – Measurements of Emotions – Metrics for Tourism Emotions – Analytics for Tourism Emotions – From experiences to memories.
The scientific committee will welcome participation from PhD and Master Students who are interested in Consumer Behavior and Tourism Analytics. Interested participants have to submit a statement of interest by the 4th of November and after receiving acceptance to the Winter School must register by the 9th of November 2018.
CBTS SUMMIT 12th– 15th DECEMBER 2018
The Winter School participants can take part to the Summit: this is an opportunity to meet and network with scholars engaged in research in the field of designing experiences, measuring emotions and creating memories who will be at the Summit to exchange scientific ideas and results and discuss new and emerging directions in research and practice in the field.
